How do you win? It’s easy – listen for the cue to text, running through the day now through June 29th. Every time you hear it, you can text the word KNOTTY to 705-326-89-89. — it’s ok if you mess up the spelling, we’ve got you covered 😉

  • Fireworks at approximately 9:45pm, brought to you by 89.1 Max FM, Country Produce, Wes Brennan Construction and Heritage Canada. 
  • Pancake breakfast in the park with local maple syrup from 8am until we sell out!
  • Entertainment throughout the day at the Rotary Aqua Theatre. Local bands on stage and beer garden w/ a view of the stage and fireworks.
  • Children’s village has inflatable from 11 – 4 for free along with demonstrations, super hero’s, villains and princesses to take a selfie with. Arts & crafts. Face painting and a magic show – all free.
  • Wheelie Great Parade – this is for anyone with a trike, bike, wheelchair, etc to decorate there ride and walk / ride through the Terry Fox Circle. The first 100 kids get a goodie bag filled with prizes.
  • Main parade from City Hall starts at noon (setup begins about an hour in advance), down Mississauga st to the park. Sign up online or the day of the event if you’d like to enter a float for free or just line the streets to watch – www.OrilliaCanadaDay.ca
  • Free cake at 2pm. Around 2000 pieces compliments of our friends at Mariposa Market!
  • Midway runs Friday June 27th through end of day July 1
  • Vendor village will be filled with commercial and craft vendors along with lots of food options and a number of local community groups.

Please buy a button! They help support the day which is run by volunteers. This isn’t a city run event, it’s run by a core committee and then we are joined on July 1st by over 100 volunteers. All day fun for everyone!
