Members of the media have been given a tour today of the new Orillia Recreation Centre.
Mayor Steve Clarke and Ray Merkley, Director of Parks, Recreation and Culture hosted the tour of the $55.5 million dollar facility on West Street South this afternoon.
It will include a 5,000 square foot fitness centre with various cardio and weight training equipment, as well as 8-lane 25-metre pool with movable floor, separating scoreboard, steam room, workout stairs, rock wall, and tarzan rope, which is fully accessible.
