As a New Year begins, residents are being warned about some potential price hikes.
Some of the areas where you can expect to spend more this year include: groceries, housing, taxes, and gasoline.

A cash fare to ride the bus in Orillia is increasing by $0.10 from $2.50 to $2.60 and there will also be price changes to bulk ticket fees.
The increase was approved by Council as part of the 2020 budget process.
