Get ready for another teachers strike.
Teachers and education workers represented by the Ontario Secondary School Teachers’ Federation (OSSTF/FEESO) have announced they will take part in another one-day, full withdrawal of services in selected locations across the province today.
However, no school boards in Simcoe and Muskoka will be affected.
On the same day, OSSTF/FEESO members in other school boards will hold information pickets in front of schools, at MPPs’ offices, and in other locations throughout the entire province.
OSSTF/FEESO President Harvey Bischof says “the job action will affect some school boards for one day, but the Ford government’s policies, if we are not able to reverse them, will continue to create chaos in the education system for years to come. Ontario students deserve better, and that is exactly what we’re fighting for.”
