A 17-year old girl who died in a crash in Barrie has been identified by friends and family as Paige Ferreira.
Police say on Wednesday night, a vehicle lost control on Georgian Drive near the college, left the roadway, struck a highway sign, and rolled several times-killing the teen.
The 17-year-old boy driving the vehicle was also taken to hospital with non life threatening injuries and police are still investigating.
No word yet on any charges.
Friends and family of Paige will be received at Adams Funeral Home, 445 St. Vincent St. Barrie (just north of Cundles Rd.) on Monday from 2 – 4 and 7 – 9 p.m.
Her funeral service will be in the Chapel on Tuesday, February 4th, 2020 at 11 o’clock.
Memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the OSPCA Alliston Branch would be appreciated by the family.
