A Go Fund Me account has been created to help the family of Paige Ferreira.
The 17-year-old girl was killed in a single-vehicle crash near Georgian College in Barrie last week.
The fundraiser aims to raise about $10,000 Paige's mother, Cathy and her family, to not only pay for funeral expenses, but also counselling to deal with her tragic death.
Paige was the passenger in a car that was travelling west on Georgian Drive on the evening of January 29th, when the driver lost control, causing the vehicle to roll several times.
Paige, an Eastview Secondary School student, was pronounced dead in hospital a short time later.
Still no word on charges.
Paige's funeral is taking place at 11 this morning.
