Closing arguments are expected to be presented to the jury today in the murder trial of an Orillia man.
34-year-old Joseph Simonds was shot and killed at a home on Franklin Street on June 4, 2017.
The jury must decide whether Martin Forget and Brian Quesnel are guilty of first-degree murder.
During testimony at the trial, the jury heard Simonds was targeted for allegedly sexually assaulting a minor related to Sonny Brokenshire.
He was one of three men arrested in the case, who pleaded guilty to conspiracy to commit murder last month and testified against his two co-accused.
