Attack 7 Bulldogs 6 (OT)
Adam McMaster scored twice including the overtime game winner as the Owen Sound Attack shaded the Hamilton Bulldogs in Ontario Hockey League play at First Ontario Centre in Hamilton.
The overtime winner by McMaster, a native of nearby Beamsville, came on a solo dash from his own end only seconds after Tag Bertuzzi had hit the goal post for Hamilton.
Defenceman Carter Robertson also scored twice for Owen Sound, scoring 31 seconds apart in the 2nd period to help the Attack erase a 2-0 deficit.
Sergey Popov, Deni Goure & Kaleb Pearson all had power play goals in the victory
The Person goal tied the game at 6 with just 31 seconds to play and Hamilton's Kade Landry in the penalty box for delay of game.
Hamilton scored 4 times on the power play and had 3 defenders, Cameron Supryka, Jake Gravelle & Nathan Staois score in the contest.
Logan Morrison, Isaac Nurse and Bertuzzi had the other Hamilton goals.
Bertuzzi followed Arthur Kaliyev's rush to the net and made it 6-5 for Hamilton with just a minute 22 remaining in regulation time.
Kaliyev had 4 assists in the game for the Bulldogs.
With the win, the Attack have now won 2 straight & increase their hold on 7th place in the Western Conference.
Owen Sound will be on the road against Friday when they visit the Mississauga Steelheads ( 6:30 pm for Kia of Owen Sound-Terry';s Trailer Service Bearadio on 560 CFOS )
The single point for the overtime loss allows Hamilton to jump over Mississauga into 6th place in the Eastern Conference.
The Bulldogs are at Flint & Saginaw this weekend.
