Band entries and voting are open now!
- From May 11-22, there will be a period of registration & online voting, where your fans will have a chance to show support for your music and getting you to the festival.
- May 25-June 5, we’ll play songs from a short list of bands, curated by our panel of judges (and influenced by the results on the online vote).
- Finalists will be selected by our judges and announced on June 8th. The finalists will be invited to battle in a show at “The Saloon” at Sawdust City Brewing, Saturday June 20th, from which one band will be selected to play the Big Stage at Tall Pines!
- This contest is open to musicians from across Ontario. Though we strongly encourage submissions from the Simcoe/Muskoka area, we know Ontario’s music scene is incredibly interconnected – so whether you’re from Barrie, Brantford, or Belleville, you’re welcome at Tall Pines!
- You must be available to play in the “battle” show at Sawdust City on June 20th, and at the Tall Pines Festival itself July 17-18.
- While we welcome submissions from musicians of all sorts and sounds, consider the venue and audience in your submission and performance. Tall Pines is a family-friendly festival, celebrating good music, good vibes, and good atmosphere in Muskoka for locals and visitors alike.
