A 56 year old Barrie man faces several charges after a pedestrian was hit by a vehicle last night in Barrie.
It happened around 9pm at the intersection of Sunnidale Road and Wellington Street West.
A woman with serious, but non-life-threatening injuries was found by Barrie Police lying in the intersection…she was taken to hospital. The driver of the involved vehicle remained at the scene.
The investigation revealed the driver showing signs of impairment and ultimately he was charged with
Possession of Methamphetamine, Operation causing bodily harm, no insurance and other highway traffic act offences.
