Coming from Prince Edward County, Kojak is a band with a unique sound. They land somewhere between the warm guitar tones of the indie and garage rock of the 2000’s and the blues and rockabilly twang of the 60s and 70s. For example, their song Seasons is warm and welcoming – the fuzz of the guitar mixed with the vocal rasp and lush harmonies creates a sense of nostalgia, sonically evoking the 70s. They often play live like at the Regent Theatre, and the Gussapolooza festival in 2024. They have two albums out, and the song Seasons is played on Max FM.
