Noise Hotel celebrate their influences, such as The Backseat Lovers, Mac DeMarco, and The Strokes. This GTA based band creates a garage-rock/lo-fi sound that is reminiscent of the 2000s. The band also has a large world building element, creating a ‘noise hotel’ at their shows, where the audience can stay and escape their worries. This is echoed by their mantra ‘we hope you enjoy your stay.’ In this world, each of the band members has a role, such as the concierge, accounting, valet and head chef.
Their recorded songs and stage presence is classy, romantic, but also raw, which creates a wonderful world where listeners can lose themselves. The song Diet Cigarette, which is played on Max FM, displays this perfectly.
