Oro-Medonte is marking Emergency Preparedness Week today with open houses and pancake breakfasts at all six of its fire stations.
The events take place from 9 a.m. until noon at fire halls in Shanty Bay, Hawkestone, Horseshoe Valley, Warminster, and Moonstone.
Visitors can speak with firefighters and learn how to prepare for emergencies.
Staff from Emergency Management Ontario will also be on hand to provide information.
