Orillia OPP are investigating the death of a 30-year-old local man.
Police were called to a residence on Rama Road around 3:45 yesterday afternoon, after receiving a report of a deceased man in the Severn River.
Investigators believe his death is not suspicious and there is no threat to public safety.
The deceased is identified as a man from Orillia.
The investigation is continuing with assistance from OPP Forensic Identification Services and in collaboration with the Office of the Chief Coroner for Ontario.
