A Barrie man is $1 million richer after winning with Lotto MAX.
Andre Harris won a maxmillions prize in the March 25th draw.
The 37-year-old father says he first discovered his big win on a Sunday.
“I was enjoying my ‘rest day’ when something told me to check my ticket. I went out to my car where I left my ticket and scanned it. Just like that, I found out I was a millionaire!” he said while at the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto to pick up his winnings.
Andre shared the big news with his friend and brother right away.
“I’m so excited and happy,” he smiled.
He plans to invest his win.
“I would also love to bring my mom from Jamacia here for a visit,” he concluded.
The winning ticket was purchased at Macewen on Dunlop Street in Barrie.
