Barrie police believe a downtown business was targeted for a break-in because the building is unoccupied and undergoing renovations.
On Tuesday afternoon, a man and a woman were seen exiting the front door of the business at 18 Dunlop Street West and carrying power tools.
When a witness asked them why they were in the building, they fled on foot.
