It seems any deficit is no problem for the Barrie Baycats.
For the second straight game, the Baycats fell behind early on but rallied late to beat the Hamilton Cardinals 9-5 on Saturday night for their ninth win in a row.
The Baycats found themselves down 5-2 when they scored six times in the bottom of the sixth inning to take an 8-5 lead.
That inning saw the Baycats (23-8) send 10 men to the plate with the first six reaching base.
After a shaky start, Matt St.Kitts (8 IP, 5 R, 2 ER, 10 H, BB, 6 K) managed to finish strong retiring the last seven batters he faced.
Jordan Castaldo (2-for-5, 2 2B, 2 R, RBI) and Kyle DeGrace (2-for-5, 2 2B, R, 2 RBI) each had a pair of doubles while Ryan Spataro (1-for-4, HR, 2 R) homered.
Zack Gonzalez had 3 hits (3-for-4), scored a run, and drove in a pair for the Cardinals (12-17).
Josh Freeman took the loss going 5 innings (plus 6 batters) giving up 8 runs (6 earned) on 10 hits, and walking 4.

The next game for the Baycats is Sunday afternoon when they travel to London to face the Majors.
