You will have more parking options when you're in downtown Orillia.
The city is adding two lots to its inventory of municipal parking lots starting on Thursday (July 26).
The new lot on Mississaga Street East, in the parking lot of the former King's Buffet, will be the city's municipal parking lot 8.
The second new lot off Centennial Drive, along with a portion of the former rail lands, will be the city's municipal parking lot 12.
A paid parking system similar to other downtown areas will be implemented in these two new parking areas.
The cost will be a dollar an hour.
