Convicted serial rapist and killer Paul Bernardo has been denied parole again.
Both full and day parole was denied for the 56-year-old prisoner this afternoon.
The decision by the Parole Board of Canada took about an hour to be reached.
The board heard from the parents of Bernardo’s victims, Kristen French and Leslie Mahaffy, who described him as an incurable psychopath.
Full reasons for the board’s decision are to be released within the next 15 days, but the board was not persuaded Bernardo no longer posed a risk of reoffending.
The ‘School Girl Killer’ and ‘Scarborough Rapist’ is currently serving a life sentence for first-degree murder and other offenses.
It’s the second time he’d been denied parole.
