Barrie Police are looking for a man they say stole some hunting knives and got himself a deep “discount” on hammocks.
The suspect in his 40s went to the Cabela's store on June 24th where he allegedly walked out of the store with two hunting knives.
He came back two hours later and switched price tags on hammocks and left the store paying 30 dollars for a $130 hammock.
The same suspect returned to the same store two days later (June 26th) and stole more hunting knives and bought two more hammocks after switching prices.
He went back for a third time on June 29th and switched price tags on merchandise.
That was when the loss prevention officer got wind of what was going on and approached the man but he fled in a black SUV.
The suspect is described as white between 43 and 45 years of age, 6-feet tall with a heavy build, wearing a red long-sleeve shirt, light coloured shorts, and sandals.
Anyone with information is asked to call Barrie Police or Crime Stoppers.
