A section of the 7th Line of Innisfil will now be a one-way road.
The Town announced onTuesday that the road will go westbound only between Yonge Street and 10 Sideroad.
They say one of the reasons for the decision is that the road starting to wear down after the tough winter and the large amount of rain last year and it would be safer if the road was narrowed to one lane.
The other reason is that the Town can do an environmental assessment to determine how to improve the conditions of the 7th Line.
They say the road had been technically closed to traffic since December.
The one-way street will remain in place at least until next March or April when the environmental assessment is expected to be completed.
