Barrie Police are looking for a suspect in the theft of a credit card.
A woman was shopping at Zehrs on Cundles Road back on March 29th when she discovered her wallet was missing from her purse as she was about to pay for her groceries.
The woman then received a message from her bank informing her that there was suspicious activity on her credit card.
It turned out someone tried to use her card to buy $300 worth of goods at the Canadian Tire Gas Bar at the ONRoute in Innisfil that day.
Later, an attempt was made to purchase merchandise using the stolen card at a Shopper Drug Mart in North York.
That was when the bank froze the card.
The suspect is a woman, 20 to 25 years old with a dark complexion, long, dark hair, wearing a light brown or gold winter jacket.
If you can identify this woman, give police or Crime Stoppers a call.
