A Barrie man is in a heap of trouble.
Southern Georgian Bay OPP stopped a vehicle that was travelling on Talbot Street in Port McNicoll around 3:45 early Thursday morning.
Officers were trying to stop the vehicle for a driving violation when it pulled into a driveway.
They approached the driver who became uncooperative and fled the scene on foot.
He was later caught and was taken to the detachment for further investigation.
The 35-year-old is facing a number of charges including impaired driving, fleeing from police, and driving while under suspension.
His license was suspended for 90 days and vehicle impounded for 45 days as a result.
He will appear in a Midland court August 23rd.
