It was another come-from-behind win for the Barrie Baycats.
They erased an early 5-run deficit scoring 8 times in the third inning on their way to beating the Toronto Maple Leafs 15-10 Thursday night.
It was the 10th straight win for the first-place Baycats.
The Maple Leafs batted around in the first inning scoring 5 runs (1 earned) off starter Santo Arias (1 IP, 5 R, 5 H, 1 BB, 1 K) for a 5-0 lead.
It was 7-2 in the third when the Baycats had that big rally against RJ Page (2 2/3 IP, 8 R, 8 H, 2 BB) sending 11 batters to the plate capped by a 3-run home run from Starlin Rodriguez (3-for-5, 2 R, 3 RBI) to go out in front 10-7.
The Maple Leafs would chip away scoring a run in the 4th, 6th, and 8th innings to tie the game up at 10-10.
But the Baycats would put it away with 5 runs in the bottom half of the 8th.
Ryan Spataro went 2-for-4 with a home run, scoring 3 times, and driving in 4, while Glenn Jackson was 3-for-5, with 2 doubles, 2 runs scored, and 3 RBIs.
