Springwater Township intends to designate the Anten Mills Community Centre located on Horseshoe Valley Rd as a property of cultural heritage value or interest under the Ontario Heritage Act.
Council approved the decision at its meeting on October 7, 2020.
Designation under the OHA recognizes and protects the heritage features of the property.
It promotes awareness and ensures that alterations made to these properties are managed effectively respecting the heritage attributes, and it provides protection from demolition.
Any objections will be accepted until 4p.m. on May 17.
