An update on the sexual assault investigation in Aurora.
York Regional Police say they have arrested a 23-year-old man from Aurora after receiving a number of tips from the public.
A 47-year-old woman was mowing the front lawn of her home on Stone Road last Saturday when she was grabbed from behind by a man.
The man dropped his pants and try to pull her towards him but the woman turned and confronted the man who then fled on foot.
Investigators located the suspect Thursday night around 6:45 and he is charged with one count of sexual assault.
He will appear in a Newmarket court on Friday.
