Police were involved in an attempt to recover a stolen pick up truck in Huntsville.
Huntsville OPP and Almaguin Highlands OPP have been trying to find a Dodge Ram pickup truck that was involved in a rash of break, enter, and thefts in the area.
They say the thefts not only include the pick up truck but also ATVs, personal watercrafts, small engine items, and firearms.
Officers with Huntsville OPP spotted the suspect vehicle in the Grandview Drive/Highway 60 area in Huntsville on Sunday night.
Attempts were made to stop the pick up truck but the vehicle fled each time.
The Emergency Response Team, Tactical Rescue Unit, and Canine Unit were brought in to locate the suspect and the vehicle.
Officers later recovered a flatbed trailer in the Hunters Bay area carrying two stolen ATVs that were believed to have been towed by the stolen pick up truck.
Police have received a number of tips from the public and are asking for anyone with video footage of the suspect vehicle to come forward.
However, they advise that the public not approach the suspect as he or she could be armed.
