Lakehead University's 7th President has been named.
The top job goes to current Interim President and Vice-Chancellor Dr. Moira McPherson.
The Presidential Search Committee unanimously made the recommendation following a 15 month search and consultation process.
The university's Board of Governors voted in support of that recommendation.
McPherson has held the interim role since January, 2018.
