A Hawkstone man is facing charges of driving-related offences.
A Barrie Police officer noticed a vehicle going the wrong way on a one-way street on Kempenfelt Drive Monday.
The officer tried to stop the vehicle but the vehicle continued on heading north towards Dunlop Street onto Berczy Street.
Police didn't engage in a pursuit but were able to find the vehicle parked at the side of Simcoe Street with a flat tire.
The driver had left but returned a few minutes later where he was arrested and charged.
It was later determined that the vehicle belong to his girlfriend and the driver did not have a valid driver's licence.
The 18-year-old is scheduled to appear in a Barrie Youth Court in October.
