The Simcoe Muskoka District Health Unit is warning residents and visitors around Magnus Park Beach in Port McNicoll to be weary of blue-green algae.
The health unit says the presence of algae has not been confirmed through tests.
Staff with the Ministry of the Environment, Conservation, and Park will be in the area to collect water sample.
In the meantime, residents are being asked not to use the water for drinking, cooking, swimming, bathing, or food preparation.
