The Attack scored 3 times in the 3rd period to break a 1-1 tie and gain a split of their weekend exhibition home-and-home with the Battalion
Griffin Wilson opened the scoring 5 minutes into the 2nd period on a power play before Kyle Potts squared the game at 1 on a North Bay power play 2 minutes later.
The Attack broke the tie when Kaleb Pearson scored early in the 3rd period.
Alan Lyszczarczyk made it a 3-1 contest for the Attack when he finished a 2 on 1 set up from Cade Robinson.
Owen Sound sealed the victory with a shorthanded marker by Daylon Groulx who was sent in alone by Manuel Alberg at the 14 minute mark.
Mack Guzda went all the way for the Attack and made 22 saves.
For North Bay Christian Purboo played the entire contest and made 26 saves
The Attack open the regular season Thursday night at Barrie against the Colts ( 7 pm for Kia of Owen Sound-Terry's Trailer Service Bearadio on 560 CFOS )
Owen Sound's home opener is Saturday night when they host the Sudbury Wolves at the JD McArthur Arena
North Bay will play their season opener at home on Friday night when they host the defending OHL Champion Hamilton Bulldogs.
