Simcoe County's free eletronics pick up continues this week for residents living in the north and east zones.
This would be for residents living in Wasaga Beach, Springwater, Tay, Tiny, Midland, Penetanguishene, Oro-Medonte and Ramara.
Place the materials out this morning(MON) as collection does not necessarily occur on your regular collection day.
Acceptable items include:
Computers
Monitors
Printers
Televisions
Cellular phones
Video gaming consoles
Small appliances (toasters, vacuums, kettles, electric mixers and coffee makers)
Personal care items (hair dryers, electric shavers and toothbrushes)
Cords and small corded power tools
Around 650,000 kilograms of electronics end in Simcoe County landfills each year.
