South Simcoe Police are investigating a break and enter at an LCBO store on Queen Street (Highway 89) in Cookstown.
A store employee came into work yesterday morning (MON) around 9 to open the store and discovered someone broke into the store through the roof of the building.
A quantity of cash was stolen.
Investigators are appealing to anyone who may have surveillance footage or have witnessed any suspicious activity in the area between late Sunday night (23rd) and early yesterday morning.
Anyone with information is asked to contact South Simcoe Police or Crime Stoppers.
