Thanksgiving is often a time to get in the car, drive around and see the fall colours.
The Ministry of Tourism says the most progression of red, yellow and orange can be found in northeastern Ontario, Algonquin Provincial Park, as well as the Sault Ste Marie and Thunder Bay area.
In Simcoe County, the show isn't as vibrant, with the colour change at just 30 per cent, while it is about 30 to 35 per cent in Haliburton and the Kawartha Lakes.
Muskoka reports about 40 per cent colour change, with prime views from several lookouts including Lion's Lookout in Huntsville, the Dorset Scenic Lookout Tower and Trail, and the Huckleberry Rock near Port Carling.
