An electrical problem is believed to have started a fire that gutted a three storey home in Shanty Bay.
A woman arrived at the residence on Saturday afternoon and encountered heavy smoke throughout the house.
Flames eventually shot through the roof.
There were no injuries and the residence had working smoke alarms.
Damage is about $650,000.
