Guelph captain Isaac Ratcliffe and Keegan Stevenson both scored twice while Liam Hawel and Cam Hillis had single markers.
Nate Schnarr, Cedric Ralph and Ryan Merkley all had two assists for the Storm who have points in their last 4 games.
Anthony Popovich stopped 37 of the 39 shots for Guelph who sit atop the Midwest Division by 3 points over the Owen Sound Attack.
Michael Vukojevic and Jonathan Yantsis scored for the Rangers who have lost 4 of their last 5.
The Attack will play 3 times in 2 & 1/2 days this weekend beginning Friday night at Oshawa, followed by a home game against London and then a trip to Hamilton.
