A six-month long police investigation called ‘Project Dunk’ has resulted in drug charges for a slew of individuals from across the region.
This after search warrants were executed at residences in Barrie, Sebright and Innisfil where police say they seized over nine kilograms of cocaine, heroin and other street drugs valued at $585,119,
They also found drug cutting agents, paraphernalia, weigh scales and a quantity of Canadian and US currency and numerous firearms.
Six people were arrested and charged with multiple offences, including possession of cocaine, heroin and oxycodone for the purpose of trafficking and firearm storage offences.
They include two men from Barrie, two from Sebright and two from Innisfil.
All six are being held for a bail hearing at the Ontario Court of Justice.
