Barrie police continue to search for suspects in connection with the thefts of perfume and cologne products from Shoppers Drug Mart stores over the past seven weeks.
There have been eight occurrences involving a group of females that has netted them more than $6,000 in fragrances.
Police believe the same group is responsible for similar thefts across Simcoe County and the GTA.
On October 18, the Shoppers Drug Mart on Front Street North and on Westmount Drive North in Orillia was targeted and nearly $7,000 in fragrances were stolen.
From the investigation that followed and with the assistance of store staff and surveillance video which captured the incident, police are able to provide the following suspect descriptions:
Suspect #1: Female, black, approximately 5'8″, mid 20's, approx. 130lbs, slim, wearing an all-white Puma track suit, black hair tied back in a bun, brown eyes, large silver hoop earrings, brown purse holding a black jacket.
Suspect #2: Female, black, approximately 30 years old, approximately 160-170lbs, heavy build, brown eyes, large silver hoop earrings, wearing a black track suit with a white line up the side of the legs and wearing a silver jacket, also carrying a dark grey purse.
Suspect #3: Female, black. approximately 5'6″, mid 20's, approximately 130lbs, medium build, black hair ties back in a bun wearing a white track suit, wearing black winter boots, black jacket with brown fur around the hood with a black purse.
