The OPP have kicked off their annual Festive R.I.D.E. (Reduce Impaired Driving Everywhere) campaign.
Provincial police will be setting up more R.I.D.E. stops until January 2nd, in a move to curb impaired driving across the province.
According to police, alcohol has been a factor in 39 deaths province-wide along OPP-patrolled roads in 2018.
Between January and October of this year, provincial police laid over 67 hundred impaired driving charges.
