There is an event at Georgian College for those looking to go back to college.
It is called Get Help to Go Back and it takes place next Tuesday night (11th) from 5 until 7 at all seven Georgian College campuses (Barrie, Orillia, Owen Sound, Collingwood, Midland, Orangeville, and Bracebridge).
Student Recruitment Specialist Sylvia Lauterbach says this event is especially for people who have been working and want to further their education.
She says going back to college can be very scary if you've been out of school for the several years.
Lauterbach says they will have staff available from recruitment to academic upgrading to career co-op.
She says they can answer questions about not only programs but also things that will be required in order to get back to college.
Lauterbach says in addition to meeting staff, there will be tours of the campuses.
She says visitors can get a look inside the classrooms, labs, and study areas.
Those interested in attending the Get Help to Go Back event should RSVP at www.georgiancollege.ca/GetHelpToGoBack.
