South Simcoe Police Service officers are appealing for the public's help in identifying a fraud suspect.
Last Tuesday police were called to a Bradford home after a resident had advertised a vehicle for sale online.
A prospective buyer came to the seller's home on Saturday with a cheque to purchase the vehicle.
The seller signed over the vehicle, but was later notified by the bank that the cheque was fraudulent.
Officers are releasing security camera images in an effort to identify the suspect.
