The cost to ride Orillia Transit climbs by 25 cents today.
The fare is now $2.50.
Mayor Steve Clarke says the city has invested significantly in Orillia Transit with six new buses, including a specialized bus, and added a new route in order to provide better service and accommodate growth.
He notes other improvements include new bus shelters and new, modern fully-accessible buses.
