Local Orillia Business people will get a chance to talk about International Trade tomorrow, Friday February 11th.
The Provinces Trade Commissioner Alan Ballak will be in town and Orillia Director of Economic Development Dan Landry is putting on a special session for local business people.
Landry says this will be a chance for the Commissioner to meet face-to-face with individual business owners and operators in an informal setting.
Landry says he wants to ask the Commissioner how his office can help Orillia businesses use technology and the internet to their advantage and expand their operations to include a global market place.
The Province’s trade commissioner works with companies that are interested in doing business abroad by helping them to prepare for international markets, assess market potential, find qualified contacts or resolve ongoing trade issues.
Landry says in order to keep it as an informal session, they will likely have to keep the number of attendees to 15 or 20 at the most.
Business owners and managers interested in attending are asked to register by calling 705-325-4900.
