Park Street Collegiate Institute in Orillia is gearing up to celebrate their 50th anniversary.
Preparations have been in the works for this milestone since the Orillia school celebrated it’s 40th anniversary.
The celebration takes place May 20 – 22, but there is plenty of work to be done before then.
PSCI teacher and organizer John Winchester says it’s important to celebrate the school’s accomplishments, staff and students, especially this year as they have been slated for closure in the future.
Activities will be held throughout the city.
