Four positions will need to be filled this year on the Orillia Soldiers Memorial Hospital’s Board of Directors.
The hospital will hold it’s AGM on June 28th when the new board members will officially be elected.
The terms for four of the Boards current directors will expire this year and so far only one of those, Tony Katarynych, has indicated they will be seeking another term.
Connie Davidson, Gord Michener and Cliff Whitefield have indicated they will not be standing for re-election.
Nomination deadline set for March 1st for individuals considered by the Nominating Committee of the Board.
The deadline has been set a bit earlier then in past years to allow the committee to complete it’s process and make their recommendations at the Board’s regular meeting held March 29th.
Elizabeth Riley President and CEO of the OSMH notes efforts will be made to balance the overall skills mixture on the board and are looking for individuals who have expertise in one or more areas like Board governance, finance, legal, information technology, risk management, or facilities redevelopment.
