The Simcoe county District School Board looking for some feed back concerning some proposed new policies surrounding student assessment.
The draft policies regard Late and Missed Assignments, Cheating and Plagiarism, and Lower Limit Report Card Marks from Grades 9-12.
The Board wants all stakeholders in the school community to complete the surveys, including teachers, school councils, parents, student trustees, student senate and staff.
Jean Hargreaves, is the boards Principal of Programs K-12 and says they have developed these policies to support student achievement and to reflect the Ministrys Growing Success initiatives.
She says hese policies are at the core of how they measure achievement and improve student learning, so input from the school community is vital to the process.
