The first round of 2019 Partnership Programming for Cultural Festivals and Events grants are being awarded on behalf of Council January 11th.
They'll be made by Councillor Pat Hehn at 10 am.
The Orillia Heritage Centre is getting $1,000, the Orillia Scottish Festival is getting $2,500 and the Roots North Music Festival is receiving $2,000.
The Programming for Cultural Festivals and Events program recognizes the valuable contribution festivals and events make to the economic and social fabric of the City.
