Ontario Provincial Police are investigating a Single Vehicle Personal Injury Collision that occurred on Hwy 12 Near Atlantis Dr near Orillia at 4:30 this morning.
A vehicle was traveling east on Hwy 12 towards Orillia and left the roadway and struck a tree.
The Lone occupant Brian Brandon age 58 of Waubeshene had to be extricated from the vehicle by the Oro-Medonte Fire Dept.
He was taken to Soldiers Memorial Hospital then airlifted to St. Michaels Hospital in Toronto with Serious Non Life threatening injuries.
Hwy 12 was closed for a short time but has been reopened to all traffic.
