March was a good month for crime stoppers in Simcoe Duffern Muskoka.
Crime Stoppers received 261 calls These calls assisted the Police in the clearance of 8 CASES involving Break and Enter, Possession of Stolen Property, Narcotics and Other Criminal Code and Provincial Statute Offences.
These investigations resulted in 7 arrests and 14 charges being laid.
Since its inception in Simcoe Duffern Muskoka in January of 1997, 47,776 calls have been received, 35 hundred arrest were made. In addtion more than 10.5 million dollars worth of property was recovered and almost 53 million dollars in drugs seized. Also more than 262 thosuand dollars of rewards have been paid out as well.
