Its not rocket science, but pretty close.
Young student scientists will be showcasing their projects at the Simcoe County Regional Science fair.
The fair is for students from grade 4 to 12 .
Chemistry teacher Steve Davis is the co ordinator of the fair and says students from all across the county showcasing their science projects.
He says this is a chance for the students to show their original research or demonstrate a biological, chemical, physical, mathematical or technical principle.
Davis says the exhibits are classified into seven divisions of science and the judging is based on scientific thought, creative ability, skill and oral communication.
The judging takes place Friday evening, and the show is open to the public Saturday.
This years Simcoe County Regional Science fair is being held at Bear Creek Secondary School in Barrie.
